He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Kirby and Elsie Kirby (Hinck); his wife Katherine Werner; his children, Valerie Martin (Paul) of Grand Haven, Michigan, Jeffrey Kirby (Diane) of New Holland, Illinois and Douglas Kirby of Mason City; his grandchildren, Cassander English (Andrew), Andrew Martin, Katherine Martin, Samuel Kirby (Ashley), Ashley Garcia, Jess Kirby and Mersades Kirby; and his sisters, Delores Allen, Patty Clifford and Donna Rae Wagoner.
