She was predeceased by: her parents, Koert Renken and Helen Renken (Spangler); her husband John Wendell Ewers of New Holland; and her brothers, William, Delbert and Wilbur Renken.

She is survived by: her children, Susan Soderstrom (Chuck) of Smith River and John M. Ewers (Marla) of Forsyth, Illinois; her grandchildren, Marianne LeGreco, Leanne LeGreco, John R. Ewers, Nathan LeGreco and Meridith Ewers-Stenson (Michael); and her great grandchildren, Oliver LeGreco and Rylan LeGreco. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorials may go to Christ Lutheran Church, The Mason City Area Nursing Home or Mason County Pets Without Parents.
