She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubbard Lewis and Nellie Lewis (Wilson); her siblings, Pauline Elrod, Cargill and Eugene Lewis; and her granddaughter-in-law Darcy Swaar.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Swaar; her children, David Swaar (Amy) of Mason City, Michael Swaar (Joan) of Mason City and Meri van Bragt (John) of Normal; and her grandchildren, Michael, Ashley, Ryan, Blake, Dane, Daniel, Donieka, Sierra and Maggie. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial contributions may be made to the United Presbyterian Church of Mason City or Luther Oaks Assisted Living.
