Joyce D. Gathmann Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce D. Gathmann of Mason City, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 7, 2024 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joyce D. Gathmann to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Owens and Frances Owens (White); her former husband Gerald Gathmann; and her children, Sharon Gathmann-Stuckey, Karen Gathmann, Steven Gathmann and Greg Gathmann.
She is survived by: her daughter Sheryl Judd (Randy) of Lincoln; her grandchildren, Steve Judd (Rachael), Brandon Judd (Sarah Wright), Stephanie Foulk and Gregory Gathmann; her great grandchildren, Kolton, Keller, Charlotte, Norah Joy, Kase, Silas, Julia, Karli and Lorilei; her siblings, Leann Miller of California and Paul Owens (Deborah) of Arizona; and her close friend Chuck Lowman. She is also survived by her family, especially her grandkids and great grandkids.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hurley Funeral Home - Mason City (603 E Chestnut St, Mason City, IL 62664). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at the Mason City Cemetery.
