It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph V. Bakotic of Mason City, Illinois, born in Loyalton, California, who passed away on April 16, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Vukon and Mary Margaret Bakotic (Ward); and his sister Mary Margaret Ames. He is survived by: his wife Rachel Lasley; his sisters, Louise Culver of Reno, NV and Helen Winegar of Chester, CA.; and his nieces and nephews, Donald Creasy (Felisha), Robert Winegar (Kristy), Michael Winegar (Lori), Casey Gremler, David Johnson (Frankie), Sherry Culver and Sonya Gremler.
