He was predeceased by: his parents, Major Fred F. Thatcher II and Gloria Thatcher (Welter); and his sister Anne. He is survived by: his children, Fred IV, Teresa and Tracy; his siblings, Margaret Dollinger (Brent) of Beason, IL., Virginia Lehmann (Mike) of Lena, IL., Barbara Hileman (Dan) and Jim Thatcher (Deb) of Elkhart, IL; and also Fred. He is also survived by many nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Hyacinth Catholic Church (927 10th St, La Salle, IL 61301). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
