She was predeceased by: her parents, John Floyd and Lillie Whitaker (Langston); her husband Carl R. Leesman; and her grandson David Vincent Scarpino. She is survived by: her daughters, Jill Scarpino (David) of Hampshire, IL and Joan Harris (Bill) of Mason City; her grandsons, Jason Scarpino, Vincent Scarpino (Leslie), Kyle Harris (Tonya), Ryan Harris (Marnie) and Matthew Harris (Christina); and her siblings, Mary Clinebell of Pekin, IL and Dwight Whitaker (Jacque) of Forest City, IL.. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Mason City Methodist Church or to the Mason City Area Nursing Home's Activity department.
