We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2024, at the age of 89, Firmin D. Lanter of Mascoutah, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father George S. (Cecilia); his wife Mary L.; and his siblings, Millie Haas, Florence Ryan, Gert Juba, Francis Lautenschlaeger, Cecilia "Woody" Lautenschlaeger, Norman and George Lanter.
He is survived by: his children, Allen Lanter (Cheryl) of Mascoutah, IL and June Lanter of Lebanon, IL; his granddaughters, Melissa Blondin (Ian) and Christina Lanter; and his siblings-in-law, Francis Kuhl, Sandy Kuhl, Jerome Kuhl (Karen), Edward Kuhl, Jr. (Mary), Michael Kuhl (Barbara), Patrick Kuhl (Karen), Delores Weckback (Ray), Catherine "Kitty" Lanter and Paul Wilhelm. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
