We are sad to announce that on September 17, 2023, at the age of 90, Elwin C. Brand of Mascoutah, Illinois, born in Ruthven, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Mary J.; his wife Judy Ann Brand; his son Elwin "Buddy" Brand; and his grandson Timothy Brand. He is survived by: his children, Carla Caskey of Mascoutah, IL, Robert Brand (Karolyn) of Mascoutah, IL and Dennis Brand of San Diego, CA; his grandchildren, Amie Messerly (Andrew), Jeffrey Hicks, Stephanie Hicks (Matthew Stangle), Matthew Brand (Heather), Nathan Brand (Veronica) and Melissa Olinger (Mike); his great grandchildren, Faith (Tyler), Orion Messerly, Emma Brand Hurlahe, Mason, Loralei Brand, Bailey Shaw and Blain Stangle; and his great great grandchildren, Miles, MaCenzie, Dawson and Destinee.
