Verla M. Hooker Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verla M. Hooker of Maryville, Illinois, born in Mount Vernon, Kentucky, who passed away on July 11, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leander Pruitt and Zola Bosserman; and her siblings, Ronnie, Donnie and Virginia.
She is survived by: her husband Dennis Hooker; and her children, Timothy Hooker (Laura) of Mt. Sterlington, OH, Stephen Hooker of Cherokee Village, AR, Carleen Pitkin (Daniel) of Highland, IL, Maureen Lane (Steve) of Collinsville and Kimberly Haddix of Indianapolis, IN. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in her honor to Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
