She is survived by: her husband Carl Thomas Thunell of Maryville, IL; her children, Shaun Thunell (Jennifer) of Marquette, MI, Carleen Bendel (David) of Glen Carbon, IL and Christopher Thunell (Ann) of McKean, PA; her sister Kathie Lostetter (Alvern) of Abiquiu, NM; and her grandchildren, Delaney Thunell, Ainsley Thunell, Owen Thunell, Moira Thunell, Cormac Thunell, Adler Bendel, Finley Bendel and Seamus Thunell.

Contributions may be made by way of Masses in Sharon's name at Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
