He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Kantola and Hilma Kantola; his spouse Arzella "Arkie" Matilda; and his siblings, Arthur, Arnold, Alfred, Bill, Rogers and Eunice Bolkers.
He is survived by: his sons, Eric Kantola of Fullerton, California and Kevin Kantola of Fullerton, California; his sister Edna Johnston; and his sisters-in-law, Christine Kantola of Revenna and Agnes Kantola.
