He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyman and Margie; and his siblings, Juanita Paust, Dovie Iler, Danny Goodwin and Carole Rittenhouse.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Bashaw; his children, Theresa Fuesting (David), John Goodwin (Dawn) and Mary Claire Goodwin; his granddaughters, Claire Fuesting and Elsie Goodwin; and his siblings, Bill Goodwin (Jean), Shirley Nevenner and Jerry Goodwin (Cheryl). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
