He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Kolling and Anita Kolling; his brother Larry Kolling; and his siblings-in-law, Lorraine Kolling and Bill Eaker.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Kolling; and his sister Jean Eaker of Bunnlevel, NC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
