She was predeceased by : her parents, Lloyd Mitchell and Henrietta Mitchell (Hefner). She is survived by : her husband Delbert Eckert; her siblings, Carol Barr and Ed Mitchell; her children, Dianne Michelle McBride (Michael), David Eckert (Eve) and Daniel Eckert (Emily); her grandchildren, Caitlyn, Ayden, Michelle McBride, Logan, Lena, Dylan Jane and Lucas Eckert; and her siblings, Bill Mitchell, Jack Mitchell, Jim Mitchell, Lloyd Jr. and Betty Lou Penrod.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 21st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Herr Funeral Home & Cremation Services (501 W Main St, Collinsville, IL 62234). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church (304 South St, Collinsville, IL 62234). A burial was held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 at the Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery (319 Wadsworth St, Collinsville, IL 62234).
