It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Morris Wayne Bantel of Maryville, Illinois, born in Murphysboro, Illinois, who passed away on January 26, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Dean and Earline Bantel. He is survived by: his wife Victoria "Vicki" L. Bantel; his daughters, Krystal Brooke Crichlow (Jason) of Palm Harbor, FL and Selena Lynne Sweet (Zach) of St. Charles, MO; his grandchildren, Logan, Noah Crichlow and Audrey Sweet; and his stepson David Curtis of Alton, IL..
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Barry Wilson Funeral Home & Cremation Services Ltd. (2800 N Center St, Maryville, IL 62062). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125).
