She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville McKay and Edna McKay (Willie); her husband Kenneth Roy Brokaw; her brother Melvin McKay; and her close friend Donald Young.
She is survived by: her daughter Ovella; her son-in-law Craig Lange of St. Peters, Missouri; her grandchildren, Ryan Rumfelt (Randine Tasher) and Heather (James Vilmaire); and her great grandchildren, Forrist Vilmaire, Fallyn Vilmaire, Jessyca "Corvyn" Vilmaire, Forchyne Vilmaire, Temperynce Vilmaire and Aislin Flake. She is also survived by other extended family and friends.
