We are sad to announce that on May 18, 2023, at the age of 80, Joe Q. Johnson of Maryville, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Mae Hodges, Josie Spates, Willie Mae Doss, Spencer Johnson, Willie Wade Johnson, George Johnson, Richard Johnson, William Arvy (Sheik) and Marvin Johnson (Beatrice).

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Johnson (Hammond); and his children, Carol Johnson, Calvin Johnson (Annette), Terry Johnson, Tracy Johnson, Brian Johnson (Deanna) and Craig Johnson (Candra). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
