He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Farris and Edna Farris; and his son-in-law James Redpath. He is survived by: his wife Patricia J. Farris; his daughters, Dinah J. Farris of St. Louis, MO, Nichole L. Sauer of Maryville, IL and Suzie (Jeff Schmidt) of Mt. Vernon, IL; his grandchildren, Josee Redpath, Dylan Sauer, Bryson Redpath (Shelbey Oliver), Joe, Libby and Reagan Schmidt; his great grandchild Brinley Redpath; his son-in-law Thorsten Sauer of Detroit, MI; and his brother Kent Farris (Dorothy) of Oxford, MS.
