He was predeceased by: his wife Joanne Sims; his son Gene Sims; and his grandson Matthew Miller. He is survived by: his daughters, Vicky Andrews (James) of Springfield, IL, Terry Lovelace (Jay) of Cape Coral, FL and Dona Miller of Godfrey, IL. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
