It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bonnie Mae Metcalf of Maryville, Illinois, born in East Saint Louis, Illinois, who passed away on October 13, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Vernon Evans Metcalf; her daughter Brenda Sue; her parents, William Soden and Stella Soden; her siblings, William (Billy), Frances (Tot), Isabelle, Bernard and Annabelle; her granddaughter Sarah Kearney; and her daughter-in-law Kelly Metcalf.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Metcalf, Jerry Metcalf (Janice), Bruce Metcalf (Peggy) and Karen Hiles; her grandchildren, Kimberly Perry (Scott), Jonathan Metcalf (Beth), Stephanie Bergman (Nathan), Andrew Metcalf (Danielle), Chad Hiles, Clayton Hiles, Ian Metcalf and Blake Kearney; and her great grandchildren, Logan, Nadia, Nora, Eliza, Bryce, Kylen, Johnny, Barrett, Jacob, James, Suzanne, Joseph, Joshua, Jonah, Kyle, Ryan, Emmett, Ivy, Olivia and Evelin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Copper Creek Christian Church and will be received at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, 2800 N. Center Street, Maryville, IL 62062.
