Though Betty may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Betty touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thelma Glover (Wilson) and William H. Glover; and her sister Elinor Barber. She is survived by: her children, Theresa Breen of Humble, TX, Elizabeth Mercer of Cornelius, NC and Randall Emert (Missi) of Georgia; and her brothers, William Glover of Thermopolis, WY and Michael Glover (Gail) of Florida. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Leclaire Christian Church (1914 Esic Dr, Edwardsville, IL 62025). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Faith in Action of Edwardsville or Bond Christian Service Camp of Mulberry Grove.
