He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Sr. Ratliff and Marguerite Ratliff (Hopkins); his children, Jeff Ratliff and Diana Cailteux; and his son-in-law Dan Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen Ratliff of Martinton; his children, James Ratliff of Martinton, Susan Thomas of Watseka, Cheryl Davis (Tom) of Martinton and Traci Kleinert (Shane) of Loda; his grandchildren, Shawn Cailteux, Kristie Hofbauer (Darin), Tyson Cailteux, Matt Ratliff, Cassie Davis (Jeff Feret), Crystal Davis (Nic Beavers), Collin Davis (Jessica), Anthony Ratliff-Troyer (Casie), Shannon Ratliff (Darrin Schaap), Kailey Kleinert (Drew Schrodt), Colton Kleinert, Beau Kleinert and Brooke Kleinert; his niece Kathy Webster; and his close friend Dalmation. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
