He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Washburn and Bonnie Grissom Washburn; his parent-in-law Vinton Reed; his daughter Penni Lori Gross; his parent-in-law Edward Krynock; and also Inez Reed.
He is survived by: his wife Coral Washburn of Martinsville, IL; his daughter Angi Herrington of Indianapolis, IN; his grandchildren, Carmel Staley Krynock of Indianapolis, IN, Tommy Lee Staley (Melissa) of Carmel, IN, Derek Gross (Susan) of South Bend, IN and Trevor Gross (Paige) of Marshall, IL; his great grandchildren, Eddie, Katie, Benji Krynock, Soren Staley, Arlo Staley, Lily Penni and Adalynn Gross; and his sister June Brewer of Florida. He is also survived by several uncles, aunts, nephews and nieces.
