It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Patsie Lee Reed of Martinsville, Illinois, born in Dupo, Illinois, who passed away on June 13, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lawrence Abernathie and Evelyn Sue Sweatland Abernathie; her spouse Verlyn Lynn Reed; and her sons, Reginald Lynn Reed and Bradley Lew Reed.
She is survived by: her children, Brady Reed (Linda) of Casey, IL and Holly Reed Heim (Joe) of Thackerville, OK; her daughter-in-law Becky Reed of Martinsville, IL; and her grandchildren, Randy Buckner, Beth Baird, Cody Reed, Thad Reed, Cayla Reed and Eric Skillern. She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.
