It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred M Stephen of Martinsville, Illinois, who passed away on July 24, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Hall and Lulu Hall (Flenner); her former husband Floyd Newkirk; her husband Robert Stephen; her son Stevie Newkirk; her grandchildren, MIchelle Lowery, Chad Mullen and Deric Mullen; and her siblings, Thelma Stephen, Faye Mauk, Warren Hall and Harold Hall.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Ledermann (Larry) of Henderson and Rick Newkirk (Franda) of Charleston, IL; her stepchildren, Neoma Mullen of Martinsville, IL, Gloria Scott of Westfiled and Larry Stephen of Martinsville; and her sister Barbara Patterson of Terre Haute, IN.. She is also survived by Eleven Grandchildren andEightteen Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the First Christian Church of Martinsville, IL.
