She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry B. Farris and Ruth Setzer Farris; her husband Robert Boyer; her siblings, Mary Farris, Roy Farris and Ray Farris; and her great grandchild Ty Steven Boyer.
She is survived by: her children, Allen Boyer (Sue) of Marshall, Dr. Victor Boyer (Penny) of Marshall and Patty Macke (John) of Marshall; her grandchildren, John Boyer (Tami) of Marshall, Scott Boyer (Vicki) of Marshall, Steven Boyer of Marshall, Robin Pancake (Todd) of Marshall, Eric Boyer (Melody) of Marshall, Curt Boyer (Tanya) of Howey, Nathaniel Macke (Molly) of Carmel, IN and Nell Pike (Richard) of Granite Bay, California; and her stepgrandchildren, Dan Thompson (Alyson) of Marshall and Jamie Richards (Michael) of Casey. She is also survived by great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pearce Funeral Home (314 S 6th St, Marshall, IL 62441). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. She was an active member of Zion Church and attended regularly until the Covid pandemic.
