She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Anthony and Alberta Noel Williams; her husband George Smitley; her close friend Dean Smitley; and her stepchildren, Stanley Smitley and Vickie Carnahan.
She is survived by: her children, Anissa "Buffy" Jones (Tim), Will Smitley (Linda), Geroge Smitley (Sandy) and James E. Followell; her grandchildren, Cody Jones, Heather Jones, Ryan Jones, Colon Smitley, Braxton Smitley and Hayden Smitley; her stepdaughter Linda Phillips; and her brother Doyle Williams.
