She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Emerick and Irene Baldwin Emerick; her husband Howard L. Simpson; her grandson Nick Wingo; and her brother-in-law Nick Shonk.
She is survived by: her children, Bailey McCullough, Brody McCullough, Piper McCullough, Preslie Beeson, Gunner Beeson, Kase McCullough, Braxton Harrold, Oakley Harrold and Nashville Harrold. She is also survived by sixteen siblings.
