She was predeceased by: her parents, Emery V. and Daisy Couch Bracken Sr.; and her brothers, Emory V. Bracken Jr. and Darrell Andre Bracken. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy James Dean Elkins; her sons, Richard Lee Bracken (Cathy) of Marshall, IL and Christopher Lee "Tiny" Price (Connie) of Marshall, IL; her stepchildren, Christina Sue Elkins, Angela Elkins and James Lawrence Dean Elkins of Kentucky; and her siblings, Harry Bracken of Marshall, Beverly Irene Pegg, Jenny Ellen Cooper and Janet Louise Cris.
