She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell E. Sutton and Ruth Lowry Sutton Sr.; her husband Lewis "Shorty" Darnell; her sons, Paul David and Marty Darnell; and her brothers, Russell "Bud" Sutton Jr. and Duane Sutton.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Hunter David of Marshall, Jessica Cline of Paris, IL, Shannon David of Paris, IL, Steven Darnell of Indiana, Richard Darnell of Indiana and David Darnell of Indiana; and her siblings, Paul Sutton of Marshall, Harold Sutton of Paris, IL and Kay Garver of Madison, AL. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
