Mary Ann Tumey Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Ann Tumey of Marshall, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 23, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Byrd and Ethel Byrd (Mosley); her husband Edward Tumey (Jerry); her in-laws, Katherine and Ed Tumey; and her siblings, Robert Byrd and Francis Tarr.
She is survived by: her children, Edward "Egie" Tumey, Kimberly Willis (Hervey), Kelli Finney Grady, Kylei Tumey, Taylor Hammons (Shawn) and McKayla Gary (Aaron); her grandchildren, Brittany Spencer (Phillip), Julie Willis, Dawson Willis and Mark Milam (Elizabeth); her great grandchildren, Xavier Higgs, Naomi Spencer, Jayden Hammons Stout, Ayden Grady, Mia Gary and Benjamin Gary; and her brother Milton Byrd (Louise). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Marshall Church of Christ (809 N 2nd St, Marshall, IL 62441).
