He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Rankins and Marjorie Davis Rankins; his daughter Darlena Wallace; his grandson Adam Kraemer; and his sister Patty Polasek.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Hollingsworth; his daughters, Paula Cline (Tom) of Marshall, IL, Judy Kraemer (Stan) of Terre Haute, IN and Lisa Dill (Mark) of Danville, IL; and his siblings, Darrell Rankins of Georgetown, IL, Marilyn Tyler of Marshall, IL and David Bayes of Marshall, IL.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren.
