She was predeceased by: her parents, John Shonk and Betty Henry Shonk; her husband Paul E. Joab; and her brother John Thomas Shonk. She is survived by: her daughters, Michelle Myers (Mike) of Marshall, IL and Melinda Jewell of Momence, IL; her grandchildren, Monica Joab, Blaine Shumaker, Brittany Williams, Tiffany Williams, Shawn Jewell, Zachary Jewell and Tyler Myers; her great grandchildren, Mariah Joab and Macy Myers; and her siblings, Mike Shonk (Connie Kinnaman) of Marshall, IL, Tim Shonk (Patty) of Charleston, IL and Cindy Snedeker (Eric) of Marshall, IL. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pearce Funeral Home (314 S 6th St, Marshall, IL 62441). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
