Doris A. Hopper Obituary

We bid farewell to Doris A. Hopper of Marshall, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 17, 2025 at the age of 71. Doris touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles White Jr. and Madge Geraldine Fogerson White. She is survived by: her daughters, Kara Root (Rob) of Asheboro, NC and Kristy Bateson (Jeff) of Colfax, NC; her grandchildren, Kaylee, Caiden, Halena and Neala; her siblings, Sharon Farris, Charlotte Lange and David White; and her nieces and nephews, Darcey Deffenbaugh (Jake), Britta Baker (John), Amanda Drake (Josh) and Joel Farris (Hoa).

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pearce Funeral Home (314 S 6th St, Marshall, IL 62441). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
