She was predeceased by: her father Thomas Jefferson; her former husband Tom Kauffman; her daughter Betty Griffin; her siblings, James Hobbs, Everett Hobbs and Aileen Sanders; and her great grandchild Robert Wyatt Petty.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Petty (Robert) of Paris, Sandy Cunningham (Russell) of Chrisman, Rose Sims (Rick) of Marshall and David Cusick (Anita) of Greenville, Kentucky; her stepchildren, Candace McCarty and Troy Kauffman; her siblings, Talmadge Hobbs (Emily) of Iuka, Mississippi, Ruby Tigner of Iuka and Francis Lilly Barnes of Corinth, Mississippi; and also David William Cusick. She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
