He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred G. Garner, Sr. and Virginia Garner (Winkles); and his siblings, Art, Steve Garner and Darlene Hiatt.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Garner of Marshall; his children, Katina Deremiah (Todd) of Mattoon and Eric Garner of Marshall; and his grandchildren, Jamie Apone (Tony), Angel Hall (Dalton), Andrew Deremiah (Marishka), Alyssa Deremiah, Christopher Martin and Jimbob Plew. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and several loved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
