He is survived by: his wife Carol Gage of Marseilles; his daughters, Twila Benckendorf of Marseilles and Kathy Brewster (Roger) of Seneca; his grandchildren, Tausha Benckendorf, Ty Rodney Benckendorf (Cierra), Carolynn Soots (Jon), Caleb Brewster (Brianna) and Cheyenne Brewster; and his sisters, Betty Ball of Streator and JoAnn Gideon (James) of Blue Springs, MO. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
