He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hamill and Ethyl Hamill (Timmons); his wife Sally Beard of Ottawa; and his sister Judy Kerwell. He is survived by: his children, Susan Burton (Richard) of Marseilles, Jannie Vega (Raul) of Chicago and John Hamill (Cathy) of Oglesby; and his sister Joyce Toussaint of Glen Carbon, IL.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the Marseilles Nursing Service or the Illinois Veterans Home in LaSalle.
