He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Jones and Willie Jones (Bowen); his wife Marilyn Marcacci; his daughters, Margret Ann Shephard and Carol Sue Jones McDonald; and his siblings, Wilbur "Whitey", Delbert, Bernard Jones, Kathryn Gilbertson and Irene Hubbard.

He is survived by: his son Bob Jones Jr. (Brenda) of Marseilles; his grandchildren, Dustin, Blake, Conner Jones and Carrie McDonald; and his great grandchildren, Jordan, Jayden Robbins and Jasmine Hill.
