He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Ard and Mary Elizabeth Sharp (Gayle); his former spouse Eddie Ruth Carr of Kermit, TX; his wife Ida Marie Lockridge; and his daughter Sherry Lynne Sharp.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Gardner (Craig) of Houston, TX and Steve Sharp (Laura) of Ottawa; his grandchildren, Alison Young, Ashley Watson, Sarah and Jonah Sharp; his great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Charlotte, Norah Young, Eleanor and Michael Watson; and also, Jan Koetz and Larry Bowling. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and friends and neighbors.
