With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Hoyt (Marseilles, Illinois), born in Albany, New York, who passed away on January 2, 2020 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul D. Towner, Jr. and Elizabeth Holcroft Towner. She is survived by: her husband Daryl F. Hoyt; her children, Daryl J Hoyt (Dawn) of Aurora and Trevor Hoyt (Portia) of Aurora; her grandchildren, Daryl M Hoyt, Jeffrey Hoyt, Tricia Hoyt and Tracie Hoyt; and her brothers, Paul Towner III (Minh), Harry Towner (Linda) and Richard Towner (Donna). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

As Susie was exceptionally active in many advocacy programs for both disadvantaged and abused children as well as the educational needs of those requiring special needs, in lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to an educational or child advocacy charity of your choosing.
