With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lori Ann Martinez of Marseilles, Illinois, born in Morris, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 5, 2024 at the age of 53. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Lori Ann leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Lori Ann may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her former husband John Martinez; her sister Lona Ellis; and her grandparents, Absher and Betty Thomas. She is survived by: her parents, Roy Gross and Peggy Gross (Thomas) of Marseilles; her daughters, Lidia Martinez of Bloomington and Gabriella Martinez of Bloomington; and her brother Tommy Gross.
