He was predeceased by: his father Albert; his stepmother Sandra McEmery; and his brother Bruce McEmery. He is survived by: his wife Leesa; his children, Leslie Fessler (Keith), Malorie Kueteman (Zachary), Kary W. McEmery Jr (Andrea), Lucas McEmery (Megan) of Chicago and Timothy McEmery (Jean) of Marseilles; his mother Edith Maxine McEmery of Marseilles; his grandchildren, Landyn McEmery, Noah Ahrens, Liam Ahrens, Maxx Fessler and Jameson Kueteman; and his siblings, Kathy Delagarza (Roy) of Channahon, Karen Leiteritz (Ron) of Ottawa, Krista Casey (Mike) of Washington State and Michael McEmery (Dawn) of Marseilles.
