She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Dempsy and Oreda Stapelton (Johnson); her husband Jay S. Trumbo; her grandson Justin Trumbo; her brother Fred Dempsy Stapelton; and her stepfather William Johnson.
She is survived by: her sons, William David Trumbo (Nicole) and Chad Evert Trumbo (Kay); her grandchildren, Edwina Hampton, Jacqueline Hackler, John Murphy, Corrina, Jay, Allen and Emma Trumbo; and her brother David Stapelton (Deanna) of Mendota. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
