She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester Mitchell and Catherine Mitchell (Raikes); her husband Harlan Costin; her daughters, Donna Cummins and Patricia Lyon; and her brother Joe Mitchell.
She is survived by: her children, Penny Russell (Les) of Alabama, Jodean Peek (William) of Marseilles, Tammy Meder of Marseilles and Rickie Lee Costin (Lisa) of Streator; and her brother Sylvester Mitchell, Jr.. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren.
