He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Lowers and Theresa Lowers (Shibrowski); his wife Ruth Richmond of Norway; his children, Karen Lowers and David Futrell; and his brothers, Frank, Ralph, Fred and Ed Lowers.
He is survived by: his daughter Teresa Smith of Norway; his grandchildren, Corey Futrell, Casey Flewellen, Courtney Futrell, Ranger Smith, Ryan Smith and Levi Futrell; and his brother Robert Lowers (Maria) of Springville, IN.. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
