Elsie M. Benckendorf Myers Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 6, 2023, at the age of 86, Elsie M. Benckendorf Myers of Marseilles, Illinois, born in Streator, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Frederick and Evangelyne Benckendorf (Hatala); her stepdaughter Barb Hawks; and her siblings, LaVerne Vavaroutsos, Joyce Gjerde, Audrey Hendrick, Lois Shockey, Elizabeth, Karen Benckendorf, Allan Buddy and V. Emmett Benckendorf.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Eiben (Stephen), Tina Sergenti (David), Rebecca Cummins (Daniel) and Claudia Myers; her stepchildren, Mildred Fessler (David Sr.), Lila Morris (Tom), Russell Myers (Deb) and Ruth Schott (James Sr.); and her sister Tamra Morris (Eugene). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
