It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris T. Madaus of Marseilles, Illinois, born in Ottawa, Illinois, who passed away on June 30, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Matlock and Chestina Matlock (Trumbo); her husband John W. Madaus Sr. of Marseilles; her siblings, Jack Matlock and Roberta Cooper; her grandson Johnny Madaus III; and her daughter-in-law Kay Madaus.
She is survived by: her children, John W. Madaus Jr. and Diane M. Nolan (Gary); her grandchildren, Sheila Gentry, Lori Madaus Cummings (Curt Hale), Dawn Nolan Thomas (Mark) and Gary Nolan Jr. (Lisa); her grandchildren-in-law, Raymond Young, Stephen Guese and Kelli Campbell; her great grandchildren, Megan Guese (Andrew Weaver), Adam, Daniel (Megan), Erin Young, Jake Thomas (Jessica), Baleigh Denbo, Kyler (Chelsie), Alek and Shelby Pellino; and her great great grandchildren, Sylvia, Mace Weaver, Logan, Lane, Audbry, Abram Young and Harper Pellino.
