He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Zachgo and Lois Zachgo (McWhorter); and his brothers, James Griffey and Harold Griffey, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Theresa M. Griffey of Marseilles; his sons, David R. Griffey, Jr. (Barbara) of Marseilles and Thomas Griffey (Jennifer) of Bourbonnais; and his siblings, Ralph Zachgo, Jr., Anna Baily, Marie Rigney and Lucky Pool. He is also survived by five grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one step-greatgrandchild.
